Celebrating 50 years of caring

Volunteer Opportunities

2007 Day of Caring

 September 11 - 14

 September 18 - 21

Day of Caring for 2006 is over.  There were approximately 250 volunteers from companies in Salem County who participated in Day of Caring this year.  Below you will find an unsolicited "thank you" from a participating agency below for you to see how well received our volunteers are.

Healthcare Commons writes:  "Please accept our heartfelt "thank you" for a wonderful "Kids' Fun Day" on September 15.  Your volunteers were prompt, professional, energetic and spirited.  They set up and cleaned up the carnival activities cheerfully and without complaint of the heat and humidity.  They interacted enthusiastically with our clients, and showed a great deal of interest in our agency and services in general.  I think I mentioned that one may even seek out an internship here, which is always a benefit to the people we serve.  Our children had a fabulous afternoon thanks to your team and thanks to your efforts at organizing their services.  We could not have put on this event without your labors and the "man-and-woman power" you supplied to us."

Keep Day of Caring in your mind for 2007 whether you are an agency who can use some extra hands or a company looking for a place to do some good.
